1. Agreement

These terms apply to the Piece of Me iPhone app, the website pieceofme.coldter.com and related services, operated by COLDTER (“we”). By using Piece of Me you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The app you download from the App Store is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

2. Who can use it

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You sign in with Apple, and you are responsible for keeping your Apple account and device secure.
• One account belongs to one person. Do not use someone else’s account.

3. Estimates, not medical advice

Piece of Me is a food diary. Every number from a photo, words or voice, and every plan, review and coach answer, is an AI estimate that can be wrong. It is not a measurement, diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.

• If your doctor gave you numbers, foods to avoid or limits, always follow your doctor.
• Do not rely on Piece of Me for urgent decisions, food allergies, medication, insulin, pregnancy care or treatment.
• With kidney disease, pregnancy or an eating disorder, the plan keeps to your doctor’s numbers and never sets a weight-loss goal. If eating feels distressing, please talk to a doctor or a professional.

4. Be kind in your circle

Your circle is for caring, not judging.

• Invite only people you know and trust.
• No bullying, harassment, mocking anyone’s body or eating, or pressuring anyone about their weight.
• Share only food photos you have the right to share. No sexual content, violence or anything illegal.
• You can report a meal from its page and remove anyone from your circle at any time. Removing works both ways and is how you block someone.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
• People in your circle can see what you share and could take a screenshot, so share only with people you trust.

5. Your content

You own the photos, words and details you add. You give COLDTER a free, non-exclusive permission to store, resize, process (including sending them to our AI provider to read) and show them to the people you chose, only as needed to run the service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We never use your photos in advertising.

You must have the right to share your content, and it must not infringe anyone else’s rights.

6. Optional subscriptions

Piece of Me is free to use. Piece of Me Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple’s App Store, for more AI meal reads a day, monthly reviews and more coach messages. You do not need Plus to log meals, use your circle or get weekly reviews.

• The price and details are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Manage or cancel in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Deleting the app or your Piece of Me account does not cancel a subscription.
• Apple handles payments and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Deleting your account

Go to Settings → Delete account and confirm with Apple. We delete every photo and every record of yours, including your place in other people’s circles. Deletion cannot be undone and does not cancel an App Store subscription. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

8. Things you must not do

• Use Piece of Me for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.
• Try to access other people’s data or accounts, or get around security or usage limits.
• Send automated bulk requests, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Copy, resell or modify the app or its design, except where the law allows it.

9. Service availability and changes

We may improve, change or stop parts of the service. The AI or a provider’s service may sometimes be unavailable. We do not promise the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Intellectual property

The Piece of Me name, logo, design, text and software belong to COLDTER or are used with permission. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app as intended.

11. Third-party services

Piece of Me relies on Apple, Cloudflare and Anthropic. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Piece of Me and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or end access when needed to protect people, prevent abuse, comply with the law, or respond to a serious breach of these terms.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Piece of Me is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties other than those stated here. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that the law does not allow to be removed.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, COLDTER is not liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Piece of Me, except where such a limitation would be unlawful.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, its providers or the law change. The current terms and their date are always on this page. Continuing to use Piece of Me after an update means you accept the new terms, to the extent the law allows.
