1. About this policy

This policy covers the Piece of Me iPhone app and the website pieceofme.coldter.com, operated by COLDTER (“we”). Questions about your data go to support@coldter.com.

2. What we store, and where

All server data is kept in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database and a private Cloudflare R2 photo bucket used only by Piece of Me, reachable only through our own server (a Cloudflare Worker).

• Account: your Sign in with Apple identifier, Apple’s email only if Apple sends it (the app asks only for your name), sign-in sessions, and Apple’s refresh token, encrypted at rest and kept only to revoke Sign in with Apple when you delete your account.
• Profile: name, emoji avatar, language, birth date, sex, height, weight, activity, pregnancy week or breastfeeding, what you told the AI about yourself (chips such as “no pork”, “diabetes” or “lose weight”, and your own words), time zone and your invite code. Telling the AI about your health is optional.
• Plan: the targets, habits and watched nutrients you accepted.
• Meals: time, name, the foods and grams, nutrients, the AI’s caption, tip and understanding, who can see the meal, who you ate with, and the photo (a 1440 px image and a 480 px thumbnail).
• Circle: who is connected to whom, reactions, “have you eaten yet?” pokes, activity notes and reports.
• AI: unposted reads (deleted with their photos after 2 days), weekly and monthly reviews, coach messages, per-day usage counts (a number and a date, removed after 14 days) and the app-wide daily AI spend.
• Push notifications: your phone’s APNs token and when the last notification of each kind was sent.
• Plus: Apple-signed transaction IDs, product, expiry and renewal state. No card or payment details ever reach us.

3. Who can see what

• A meal shared with your circle is visible to the people in your circle: the photo, name, time, foods, nutrients, caption and reactions. A meal kept “Only me” is visible only to you.
• Nobody else ever sees your body details, health information, plan, reviews or coach messages.
• Photos are served only to you and your circle, with a signed-in session.
• Anyone who has your invite code or link can see your name and avatar, so they know who invited them, and nothing else.
• There are no public profiles and no public feed.

4. Who processes data for us

• Anthropic (Claude Haiku 5.5) reads meal photos and words, and writes plans, reviews and coach answers. It receives the photo or words, the profile details above (never your name or account details) and the period’s nutrition numbers. Requests go through the Anthropic API under Anthropic’s commercial terms, which do not use API data to train models.
• Cloudflare hosts our server, database, photos and this website.
• Apple provides Sign in with Apple, push notifications (APNs), speech recognition (the app keeps only the text, never audio) and App Store purchases.

5. How long we keep data, and deletion

• Unposted reads are deleted with their photos after 2 days.
• Per-day AI usage counts are removed after 14 days.
• A meal you delete is removed with its photo at once.
• Everything else is kept while your account exists.
• Delete account: Settings → Delete account asks Apple to confirm, revokes Sign in with Apple when the token is available, deletes every one of your photos and deletes your account, which removes everything listed in section 2, including your place in other people’s circles.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store. Cancel it in Apple’s subscription settings.

6. What we don’t do

• No advertising.
• No analytics or tracking SDK.
• No selling or sharing of data for marketing.
• No public profiles.

7. This website

pieceofme.coldter.com loads no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts and sets no cookies of its own. When you open an invite link, the page sends the code in the link to our server to show the name and avatar of the person who invited you.

8. Estimates, not medical advice

The estimates are for a food diary; they are not measurements, diagnoses or medical advice.

9. Children

Piece of Me is not made for children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.

10. Your choices and rights

In the app you can see and edit your profile, what you told the AI and your plan; delete any meal; keep a meal “Only me”; choose whose meals notify you; remove people from your circle; and delete your account at any time. To exercise any other right over your personal data under applicable law, email support@coldter.com.

11. Changes to this policy

When the app or its providers change, we update this policy and the date at the top. The current policy is always on this page.
